MORE ABOUT VERETTA FRAZIER

Veretta Frazier is a Democratic candidate for the 44th District Court, a civil court with jurisdiction in Dallas County. Frazier is a seasoned litigator with more than 25 years in practice. She has broad experience in the areas of personal injury, education, franchises, commercial litigation, labor and employment, licensing agreements, real estate, and contracts. She has appeared before both state and federal courts.

Frazier is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago and Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law. She has served as an Associate at Jenkens & Gilchrist, Associate Counsel at FirstPlus Financial, Inc., Senior Counsel at Snelling and Snelling, Inc. and in private practice. Today she is a Partner at West & Associates, L.L.P., in Dallas.

Frazier has been an active member of the bar, including prior service as President of the J.L. Turner Legal Foundation, and service on a range of committees for the Dallas Bar Association and the Texas State Bar, including Woman in the Law and Civic Service. Frazier is an active member of her church. She and her husband have six children and are longtime Dallas County residents. Veretta has frequently volunteered on Democratic judicial and legislative campaigns.
